Drawings on textured paper

This oatmeal-like paper was perfect for drawing these dried plants, memories of last fall.
Lace cap hydrangea:

Assorted seed pods, like small poppy pods, experimenting with various pens. (An artist can never have too many pens!)

Pacific Northwest evergreens and Mountains

About 10 x 13” Painting the background mountains was fun from the hazy distant to the closer ones. The mountains display an amazing variation of greens, theme and variations.
